Anne M. Kitz sold a four-bed, 2.5-bath home at 7806 Tanager Court in Shrewsbury to Caleb and Maria Wagner for $325,000 on May 9.

The 2,533-square-foot house, which was built in 1983, is in Shrewsbury South. It is located in the Southwoods at Kenrick Seminary subdivision.

Ms. Kitz is a member of the faculty at Sacred Heart School of Theology. Previously, she was president of the American Schools of Oriental Research in its Central States Chapter. She also served as vice president and secretary/treasurer of the institution. In addition, she is currently a member of Catholic Biblical Society, Society of Biblical Literature, and American Oriental Society.

She received a Ph.D. in near eastern studies from Johns Hopkins University and a master of arts in teaching of classics from Boston College. She was also conferred a master of divinity at Weston Jesuit School of Theology and a master of theology at Harvard University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 54 home sales in Shrewsbury during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $140,000.
