Ronald L. Gingerich bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 8025 Maryland Ave. in Clayton from Thomas A. Tucker for $1 million on July 1.
Unit #17C is part of the Maryland Walk development, which was built in 2006. Mr. Tucker paid $1.27 million for the property in Oct. 2010.
Mr. Gingerich is the president and CEO of LINCO Diagnostics Services, Inc. He was the founder, CEO and chief scientific officer of its sister company, Linco Research Inc. Previously, he served as research instructor, assistant professor, and director of the radioimmunoassay facility at Washington University school of Medicine in St. Louis.
He received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1975 and finished his postdoctoral training at Washington University School of Medicine.
Mr. Gingerich also bought a two-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo at 155 Carondelet Plaza in Clayton for $1.1 million in Nov. 2009.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 6 condo home sales in Clayton during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $600,000.
