Dr. Alicia B. Forinash and Brian J. Forinash bought a four-bedroom, 2,5-bath home at 17 Orchard Lane in Kirkwood from David Stoffer and Mary Stoffer for $465,000 on June 6.
The Stoffers paid $530,000 for the house in July 2007. The 2,450-square-foot house was built in 1938 in the Kirkwood Southwest neighborhood.
Dr. Forinash, a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist, is an associate professor of pharmacy practice and the residency director of a new PGY2 ambulatory care residency at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She also practices obstetric pharmacy at St. Mary's Health Center in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.
She holds a bachelor's of science degree in pharmacy and completed her Pharm.D. degree at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and her specialty residency in family medicine at Forest Park Family Medicine and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
Mr. Forinash is an automation engineer at Monsanto and a former senior manufacturing engineer at Cooper Bussmann. He attended Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri-Rolla.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 314 home sales in Kirkwood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $170,120.
