Seth A. Strope and Sharon M. Strope bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 33 Hillvale Drive in Clayton from Jerry P. Schomburg and Ronda A. Schomburg for $825,000 on Aug. 11.
The 2,818-square-foot house, which was built in 1927, is in East of Hanley Road. It is located in the Claverach Park subdivision.
Dr. Strope is an assistant professor in the division of urologic surgery at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He is also affiliated with Barnes Jewish Hospital and Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital.
He received his M.D. from Albany Medical School, completed his residencies in general surgery and urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, and served his fellowships at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. He also holds a master's degree in public health from the University of Michigan.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 111 sales in Clayton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $487,000.
