Craig R. Albrecht bought a five-bedroom, eight-bath home at 21 Saint Andrews Drive in Ladue from Andrew C. Cowen and Alison W. Cowen for $1.62 million on June 16.
The 6,904-square-foot house was built in 1939 in Ladue North.
Mr. Albrecht is a co-founder of The Bodley Group, an investments company founded in 2005 in St. Louis. He also serves as president of Betallic LLC, a St. Louis-based manufacturer of foil and latex balloons and treasurer of the International Balloon Association. Before joining Bettalic, he served as president of Dynasty Designs, a manufacturer and distributor of fashion accessories.
He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Stanford University.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 80 home sales in Ladue during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $720,000.
