Eren and Lola Tasar bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 710 Villa Place Court in Olivette from Marc and Laura Rose Seleman for $289,000 on June 10.

The Selemans paid $226,000 for the house in January 2007. The 1,789-square-foot house was built in 1957 in Olivette South.

Mr. Tasar is an ACLS new faculty fellow at Washington University in St. Louis. Previously, he was a lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University.

Mr. Tasar attended Harvard University.

Mr. Seleman serves as a business manager at STAGES St. Louis, a not-for-profit musical theater company. He was also a business manager at New City School and at Solomon Schechter Day School of St. Louis.

He has a graduate certificate in non-profit management from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 80 home sales in Olivette during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $242,500.
