Thomas W. Bennet sold a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 1731 Pine Hill Drive in Des Peres to Marion M. Lopez for $250,000 on Sept. 1.

The 1,680-square-foot house was built in 1960 in Des Peres East of 270. It is located in the Hickory Hill subdivision.

Mr. Bennet is a professor of computer science at Mississippi College's department of computer science.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland-College Park.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 69 home sales in Des Peres during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $347,500.
