Lindsey Cerny and Christopher Cerny bought a three-bedroom, 2.2-bath home at 711 E. Madison Ave. in Oakland from Marathon Property Co. LLC for $395,000 on Aug. 17.
Marathon Property Co. LLC acquired the property on April 7 for $204,000. The 1,932-square-foot home in Oakland West was built in 1955.
Ms. Cerny works in the business development department of the energy division of The Boeing Company, an aerospace company and manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems. She previously worked in the graphic design department of The Boeing Company.
She has a B.F.A. in graphic design from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.A. in marketing and advertising from Webster University.
Mr. Cerny is a sales representative at Schindler Elevator Corporation, a supplier of escalators and a manufacturer of elevators. He previously worked at Purchase Partners.
He attended St. Louis University High School and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 12 home sales in Oakland during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $209,500.
