Nestle Purina brand manager grabs 4BD in Des Peres

Heather L. Gettys bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1727 Folkstone Drive in Des Peres from Thomas L. Newman and Julie A. Newman for $369,000 on Oct. 4.

The 1,575-square-foot house was built in 1959 in Des Peres East of 270. It is part of the Hickory Hill subdivision.

Ms. Gettys is senior brand manager at Nestle Purina PetCare Company in the pet products industry. Previously, she was customer marketing manager for Walmart, as well as business development manager for Purina in Chicago.

She attended Miami University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 65 home sales in Des Peres during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $344,000.
