Med tech research scientist opts for South of 64 4BD

Chunhua Men and Jun Zhang bought a four-bed, 3.5-bath home at 1150 Wildhorse Meadows Drive in Chesterfield from Lawrence J. Cordes and Janice Wray Cordes for $512,000 on Sept. 8.

The 3,760-square-foot house, which was built in 1998, is in South of 64. It is located in the Spring Hill Bluffs subdivision.

Ms. Men is an optimization research scientist at Elekta, a medical technology company enhancing procedures and treatments for various illnesses including brain disorders and cancer. The firm specializes in radiation therapy, radiosurgery equipments, and clinical management systems. Prior to this, she was a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of California at San Diego. She is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and Medical Imaging Network, among others.

She received a Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Florida.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 331 home sales in Chesterfield during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $310,000.
