F. August Haug and Katherine M. Haug bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 520 Purdue Ave. in University City from Jon Baker and Jo Baker for $495,000 on Sept. 12.
The 2,296-square-foot house was built in 1928 in University City South. It is part of the University Hills subdivision.
Mr. Haug is director at Cequel III, a private equity and venture capital firm. Prior to Cequel, he was vice president of leveraged finance and analyst of media and telecommunications at U.S. Bank. He also formerly worked with Farmers & Merchants Bank in St. Clair.
He holds an M.B.A. from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S.B.A. in finance from Washington University in St. Louis.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 276 home sales in University City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $129,649.
