Technical exec and optometrist buy Webster Groves 3BD

Alan C. Davidson and Cheryl L. Davidson bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 13 Webster Acres St. in Webster Groves from Lance McKinley and Linda McKinley for $315,000 on Sept. 12.

The 1,960-square-foot house was built in 1935 in Webster Groves South.

Mr. Davidson is a technical director at The Switch Liberate Your Brand, an events services firm. He previously worked as production technician at Charter Communications and production assistant at Bass Pro Shops.

He has a B.S. in electronic media production from Missouri State University.

Dr. Davidson has been associated with Webster Eye care since 1997, when she began working as a vision therapist. She serves as adjunct assistant clinical professor of Optometry. She previously served as assistant professor at the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry's Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinic. She received her B.S. from Southwest Missouri State University and her O.D. from the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 188 home sales in Webster Groves during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $201,500.
