Anthony Thornberry and Anita M. Reznicek bought a three-bedroom, 2.5 bath home at 522 High Meadow Road in Frontenac from Clarence C. Spiegelhalter Jr. and Marianna K. Spiegelhalter for $373,400 on Sept. 9.

The 2,016-square-foot house was built in 1962 in Frontenac South neighborhood. It is located in the High Meadow Road subdivision.

Ms. Reznicek is president at St. Joseph's Academy, a college preparatory high school in Frontenac. She is also a doctoral candidate in religious studies and history at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She previously spent 23 years of teaching, leadership and mission service at St. Teresa's Academy in Kansas City, Mo. She also has been a lecturer and teaching fellow at the University of Kansas, the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Avila College.

She earned her bachelor's degree in theology and psychology from St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa and her master's degree in religious studies from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 33 home sales in Frontenac during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $583,700.
