William H. and Margaret Freivogel have listed for sale a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 231 Longview Blvd. in Kirkwood for $389,900.

Mr. Freivogel is a professor and serves as director for the School of Journalism at Southern Illinois University, College of Mass Communication and Media Arts. He started working as journalist with St. Louis Post-Dispatch and has served as assistant bureau chief at Washington Bureau.

He received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mrs. Freivogel is the founder and editor of the St. Louis Beacon. She was previously a reporter, editor and Washington correspondent for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

She graduated from Stanford University.
