Renee Ducker and Rich Wetherbee bought a two-bath home at 1904 Lasalle St. in Lafayatte Square from Paul C. Doerner for $318,000 on June 22.
The 2,557-square-foot house was built in 1879.
Ms. Ducker has worked as a planner at DMJM Harris in New York City. She previously worked for the Louis Berger Group, an engineering firm in Morristown, N.J., as a transportation planner.
She attended Truman State University, where she earned her B.S. in sociology and history in 1998. She earned her master's in urban planning in 2004 from New York University.
There were 27 home sales in Lafayette Square in 2008, with a median sales price of $270,000.
