Mark R. Kalk and Mark C. Lammert sold a 1.5-bath home at 3106 Allen Ave. in Compton Heights to Scott Kubel and Joan Butcher for $470,000 on Aug. 27.

The 2,070-square-foot home was built in 1907.

Kalk has served as a coordinator and instructor for science outreach at Washington University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 20 sales in Compton Heights in 2008, with a median sales price of $280,000.
