Margo Schlanger and her husband, Samuel R. Bagenstos, sold a six-bedroom, five-bath home at 25 Lenox Place in the Central West End to Paul and Bridget Collins for $700,000 on Sept. 16.
The 5,242-square-foot house was built in 1903.
Schlanger works as a professor of law and director of the civil rights litigation clearinghouse at Washington University. Prior to that, she was an assistant professor of law at Harvard and she was an attorney in the special litigation section at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.
She earned her J.D. from Yale Law School and her B.A. from Yale College.
Bagenstos serves as the associate dean for research and faculty development and is a professor of law at the Washington University School of Law. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant professor of law and research fellow and lecturer on law at Harvard Law School, where he also earned his M.A. degree.
He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. in political science from the University of North Carolina.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 115 home sales in the Central West End during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $233,750.
