Mary and Joseph Ostafi bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 915 Olive St. in Downtown from Syndicate Condominiums LLC for $335,500 on Jan. 25.
The 1,507-square-foot Unit #1503 is part of the Syndicate Building, a condominium development that was built in 1906.
Ms. Ostafi has been a sustainable design specialist at HOK, an architectural and engineering design firm established in 1955. Prior to that, she was an architect and interior designer at Flad Architects. She also worked as an interior designer at Bray Architects.
She attended Blekinge Tekniska Hogskola and Northern Illinois University.
Mr. Ostalfi has served as an S&T regional leader at HOK. Before joining HOK, he was a senior design architect at Flad Architects, an architect at Jacobs Engineering and he worked with Perkins & Will and Lehman Smith Mcleish.
He attended the University of Cincinnati and the University of Toledo.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 20 home sales in Downtown during the past 12 months, with a median price of $239,250.
