Christine Burghoff bought a 1.5-bath home at 6232 Devonshire Ave. in St. Louis Hills from Marc Meschke and Greta Meschke for $255,000 on May 11.
The Meschkes paid $250,000 for the 1,400-square-foot house in June 2005. It was built in 1937.
Burghoff is the director of development at Saint Louis University.
She was previously an advancement director at St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. She has also served as a state planning counsel at AG Edwards and Sons and as trust counsel at Boatmen's/Centerre Trust Co.
She received her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law (1982).
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 78 home sales in St. Louis Hills in the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $212,000.
