Former Motorola exec leaving 6BD in Central West End

Sean and Dolores G. Hunkler have listed for sale a six-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 14 Lenox Place in Central West End for $924,900.

The Hunklers paid $840,000 for the house in Aug. 2005. The 4,896-square-foot house was built in 1903. Fitzgerald Realty Group is the listing agent for the house.

Hunkler is senior vice president of customer advocacy at MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. He previously served as the company's SVP of manufacturing. Prior to joining MEMC, he was vice president of fab operations for Freescale Semiconductor Inc., a subsidiary of Motorola, Inc. He also served as president of Motorola's White Oak joint venture with Infineon Technologies in Richmond, Virginia.

He earned his master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 126 home sales in Central West End during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $200,000.
