St. Louis Blues president John Davidson and his wife, Diane, bought a four-bedroom, three bath in Town & Country at 240 Conway Hill Rd. for $2.94 million from Jeff and Stacey Enderle on Sept. 28, 2006.
Gateway Property Development paid $925,000 for the property in Feb. 2003. The Enderles bought the 8,847 square foot home in Sept. 2005.
Prudential's Jiggs Dunn listed the sale for $2.999 million.
Davidson was named president of the National Hockey League team in June 2006, immediately after new owner Dave Checketts took over the franchise from Wal-Mart heir Bill Laurie.
Davidson, a former Blues goaltender, was a first-round draft choice in 1973 and was later traded to the New York Rangers and helped lead the squad to the Stanley Cup finals in 1979. He retired from the game in 1983 because of various injuries.
However, it was in front of the camera, not in front of the goal, in which he made a name for himself around the NHL. He was a longtime on-air analyst with the Madison Square Garden (MSG) Network and helped contribute to coverage with just about every network that has broadcast the NHL from ABC, Fox, ESPN, TBS to OLN. He also helped work the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics for NBC.
Former Blues CEO Mark Sauer sold his home in Richmond Heights for $1.6 million in Aug. 2006.
