Monsanto executive Brett Begemann and his wife, Katherine, bought a four-bedroom, four bath at 18673 Wild Horse Creek Rd. in Wildwood for $1.8 million from John and Rebecca Hahn on Sept. 29, 2006.
Wanda Miles-Davis of Coldwell Banker Gundaker was the agent for the sale. She was asking $1.85 million for the 6,567 square foot home, which was built in 2005.
Mr. Begemann has served as the Executive Vice President of Monsanto's International Commercial department since 2003. The 46-year-old Missouri native is in charge of business in Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and South America for the St. Louis-based agricultural giant. He is the former vice president of the company's Asia Pacific department.
He received his bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from the University of Missouri.
