Lawyer couple buys 4BD in Webster Groves

John Kingston and his wife, Jennifer, bought a four-bedroom, two bath at 519 N. Bompart Ave. in Webster Groves for $615,000 from Karen Kamper on Jan. 24.

Kamper paid $429,500 for the 2,724 square foot home in June 1999, four years after it was built.

Since 2003, Mr. Kingston, 33, has been an associate at Thomas Coburn LLP in St. Louis. He practices in the firm's business litigation group.

Mr. Kingston is a former law clerk in the U.S. District Court (Eastern Mo.) and the U.S. Court of Appeals (sixth circuit). He was also an associate at national law firm Bryan Cave LLP from 1999-2001.

He received his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law (1999) and has a bachelor's degree from Phillips University in Enid, Okla. (1995).

Mrs. Kingston is an associate practicing commercial litigation in the St. Louis office of Bryan Cave LLP. She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia (1999) and her bachelor's from Washington University (1996).
