Dayakar Veerlapati and his wife, Shanta, bought a four-bedroom, three bath at 1019 Polo Downs Dr. in Town and Country for $755,000 from Paul Schlessman on Jan. 26.

Mr. Schlessman bought the 3,923 square foot home for $670,000 in Feb. 2006. It was built in 1996.

Jiggs Dunn of Prudential Alliance Realtors was the agent for the sale. It was listed for $775,000.

Mr. Veerlapati, 48, is the founder and CEO of S2Tech, an information technology firm based in St. Louis. He founded the company in 1997.

He received his master's in Information Management from Washington University. He also has a master's in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.

Mrs. Veerlapati is the CFO of the company.

Since 2003, Mr. Schlessman, 50, has served as the Vice President of Finance for ICL Performance Products in St. Louis. The company manufactures and markets fertilizer and industrial products as a subsidiary of Israel Chemicals Limited.

Mr. Schlessman formerly worked for Cooper Industries in Houston and was the CFO of St. Louis-based electronics giant Belden Inc. He has an M.B.A. from The University of Toledo and a bachelor's in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
