Roy Stolze and his wife, Rosemary, sold their three-bedroom, two bath at 527 Briar Ridge Lane in Frontenac for $729,000 to Mark and Gina Cochrane on March 7.
The Stolzes paid $715,000 for the 2,702 square foot home in Nov. 2006. The house was built in 1968 and remodeled in 1997.
Joan Schnoebelen of Laura McCarthy Town and Country real estate was the agent for the sale. The listed price for the home was $744,900.
Mr. Stolze is the co-founder of Bruno Stolze & Co., a discount brokerage firm in St. Louis, which was acquired by Mercantile Bancorporation for $6 million in June 1998. He founded the company with business partner J. Michael Bruno in 1975, and the firm was the first of its kind in the St. Louis area at the time.
Mr. Stolze left the company after the merger with Mercantile. Prior to founding Bruno & Stolze, he worked for national brokerage firm A.G. Edwards.
The Stolzes also sold a five-bedroom, three bath at 476 Steeplechase Lane in Frontenac for $1.25 million on Aug. 15, 2006.
They bought a home at 507 Meadow Creek Lane in Warson Woods for $649,000 in July 2006, and have owned property at 17 Devondale Lane in Town and Country and 36 Flynn Forest Lane in Glendale.
