Former Richmond Heights mayor sells for $700K

Brainerd LaTourette, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, sold their four-bedroom, three bath in Richmond Heights at 7 Berkshire Dr. to Michael and Deborah Tonn for $700,000 on March 22.
Mr. LaTourette, 77, is an attorney with Lashly & Baer, P.C. in St. Louis. Prior to joing Lashly & Bear, Mr. LaTourette spent two years as senior vice president at transportation giant Unigroup, where he reorganized the in-house law department. Before Unigroup he was in private practice, which including a stint as Chairman of his own firm, LaTourette, Schlueter & Byrne.
From 1992-1996 Mr. LaTourette served as the mayor of Richmond Heights and he spent 15 years on the St. Louis County Council and 12 years as chairman of the county's Police Board. His father, Brainerd LaTourette, Sr., was mayor of Richmond Heights from 1932-1948.
LaTourette Jr. served in the Counter Intelligence Corps of the United States Army from 1955-1957.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Westminster College in 1952 and earned his J.D. from Washington University the same year he joined the military.
