Philip Koen and his wife, Peggy, bought a three-bedroom, 3.5 bath condo in the Maryland Walk building at 8025 Maryland Ave. in Clayton for $1.445 million from Conrad Properties on April 2.
Christine Cool of Conrad Living Properties listed Unit #13C for $1.446 million.
Mr. Koen is the CEO and a director of SAVVIS, Inc., a provider of information technology services. Prior to SAVVIS he served as President and COO of Equinix. He was also the former CEO of PointCast, Inc. and held various executive positions with Etec Systems, Inc. and Baker Hughes, Inc.
He's served on the board of directors at Centura Software Corporation, Zitel Corporation and Launchpad Technologies.
He earned an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
The Koens bought a home in Newport Beach, Calif. at 330 Montero Ave. for $2.955 million on Feb. 23.
Maryland Walk is a 17-story condominium building in downtown Clayton. The building opened in Nov. 2006 and was developed by Conrad Properties Corp.
