New Construction Spotlight: Metal buyer pays $1.925 million for new Saaman home in Clayton

Allan Roodman and his wife, Karen, bought a five-bedroom, 5.5 bath at 218 Crandon Dr. in Clayton for $1.925 million from DMB Development on Apr. 6.
DMB paid $490,000 for the property in May 2005.
The 5,500 square foot home was built by Saaman Development.
Deni Ryckman of Saaman Realtors was the agent for the sale. The listed price was $2.295 million. This home was recently featured as a free listing on blockshopper.com
Mr. Roodman is the owner of Top Metal Buyers Inc., a wholesale metal scrap company with locations in Chesterfield, Cape Girardeau and East St. Louis, Ill.
The Roodmans have previously owned a home at 942 Guelbreth Lane in Creve Coeur.
