Paul Arenberg bought a new three-bedroom, three bath condo in the Maryland Walk condominium building at 8025 Maryland Ave. in Clayton for $1.633 million from Conrad Properties on March 30.
Christine Cool of Conrad Living Realty was the agent for the sale. Unit #9C sold for its listed price.
A fixture in the St. Louis business and arts scene, Mr. Arenberg is a business consultant for the St. Louis-based Barclay Building Corporation. He is the former President of the Barclay Marine Distribution Corporation in Chicago.
He has served on the boards of a number of organizations in both the Chicago and St. Louis areas. His St. Louis responsibilities have included roles with the Central Institute for the Deaf, the St. Louis Art Museum and the Regional Arts Commission.
Mr. Arenberg and his late wife, Ann, have previously lived at 312 N. Brentwood Blvd. in Clayton.
Maryland Walk is a 17-story, 101 unit condo building that was developed by Conrad Properties. Conrad has been developing innovative high-end residences around the St. Louis area since 1971. They are responsible for such properties as The Claytonian, the Hi-Pointe Lofts and the hotel/residence Clayton on the Park.
