Wash U law professor seeks $940K in Clayton

Washington University law professor Neil N. Bernstein and his wife, Marcia, have listed their five bedroom, three bath at 42 Hillvale Dr. in Clayton for an asking price of $940,000.

Jean Schneider of Laura McCarthy Real Estate is the listing agent for the sale on the 3,643 square foot home, which was built in 1932.

Mr. Bernstein is a professor of law at Washington University in St. Louis. He teaches employment law, employment discrimination, insurance law and labor law and has served on the faculty at Washington University since 1967.

His lengthy law career includes stints with a number of St. Louis law firms, including Riechman & Bernstein, Spoehrer and Lemkemeier and Bryan Cave McPheeters & McRoberts. He has also served a senior antitrust attorney if the office of the Missouri Attorney General. His law career has also extended to positions in New York and Washington D.C.

Mr. Bernstein received his LL.B. from Yale Law School (1957) and his bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Michigan (1954).
