Thompson Coburn partner moves into Webster Groves 4BD

E. Allen Springer Jr. and Linda L. Shapiro bought a four-bedroom, three bath at 433 Hawthorne Ave. in Webster Groves for $725,000 from William and Diann Wichman on June 12.

The Wichmans paid $400,000 for the 3,843 square foot home in 1995. It was built in 1954.

Laura McCarthy's Carla Britton was the listing agent for the home, which sold for its asking price.

Mr. Springer is the President of St. Louis-based Engineered Air Systems, a division of DRS Sustainment Systems. DRS manufactures and supports systems and equipment for the Armed Forces.

Ms. Shapiro is a partner at the law firm Thompson Coburn LLP in St. Louis. Her practice concentrates on government contracts law and business immigration. She's been with the firm since 1984.

She earned her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law and has a master's from Catholic University and a B.A. from Fontbonne University.
