Founded in 1980, the company has consulted executives from prominent companies such as AT&T, Monsanto, H.J. Heinz Company and the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Mr. Vecchiotti is also a licensed psychologist, and his business insights are offered in a monthly Wednesday morning commentary on 90.7 KWMU public radio in St. Louis.

Prior to founding Organizational Consulting Services, Mr. Vecchiotti spent 12 years in various roles with the McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing) from 1967-79. He served as a Captain and a psychologist in the U.S. Army from 1965-67, and eventually retired from the military in 1990 with the rank of Colonel.

He received his Ph.D. in Psychology from St. Louis University and his master's in Psychology from Fordham University in New York City. He also has a bachelor's in Sociology from St. Peter's College in New Jersey.
