Roy Schacht and his wife, Peggy, bought a four-bedroom, four bath at 15300 Chesterfield Pines Lane in Chesterfield for $935,000 from George and Deborah Stock on Aug. 3.

The Stocks paid $403,500 for the home in Jan. 1996.

Sherri Welner of RE/MAX Properties West was the agent for the sale. The listed price was $995,000.

Mr. Schacht is the founder and former president of Automark Marking Systems, a St. Louis-based company which develops and distributes industrial marking equipment. He founded Automark in 1941, and the company has since specialized in equipment for indenting, embossing, branding and dot marking.

He stepped down in 1996 and passed the company along to his son Ron, who still serves as Automark's president.

Mr. Stock is the President of Stock & Associates, a civil engineering firm based in Chesterfield.

Founded in 1992, the company boasts nationwide projects including a number of suburban St. Louis high schools, 15 St. Louis-area Walgreen's drug stores, the St. Louis University Law School building and the training facilities for both the Atlanta Falcons and Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League.
