Christian Christiansen and his wife, Bente, sold their four-bedroom, three bath at 17755 Drummer Ln. in Chesterfield for $610,000 to David and Diane O'Reilly on July 25.

The Christiansens paid $490,000 for the home in Nov. 2002.

Mark Scheller of RE/MAX Properties West real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed as high as $675,000 when it appeared on the market in Sept. 2006.

Mr. Christiansen is the Vice President of Engineering for Asetek, a Denmark-based company that specializes in providing vapor phase, vapor chamber and liquid cooling solutions.

He has held the position since Sept. 2006 for the company that has a U.S. office in Menlo Park, Calif.

Prior to joining Asetek, Christiansen spent four years as the Chief Operating Officer and a board member with the Chesterfield-based Everest Biomedical Instruments Company, where he responsible for the research, development and production of hand held medical equipment.

He has also served as the Vice President of Engineering for California-based Coactive Networks Inc. and held different positions with two Danish companies, GN Danavox and GN Netcom Inc., where he managed a team which brought to market the world's first Bluetooth headset.

Christian holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Engineering College of Copenhagen.

Chesterfield home sales have fallen 15 percent through July 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period has also slipped $11,000 from $340,000 in 2006 to $329,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices have risen steadily in Chesterfield since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
