Meade McCain of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The listed price was $599,000.

Dr. Mimlitz is a obstetrician/gynecologist at the Overland Medical Center in St. Louis. He entered private practice in 1996 and joined the staff at Overland a year later.

He specializes in well woman exams and prenatal care, and has a special interest in menopausal medicine.

A native of St. Louis, Dr. Mimlitz received his M.D. and his bachelor's from Saint Louis University. He completed his residency at St. John's Mercy Medical Center.

Des Peres home sales have risen three percent through July 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has slipped $14,000 from $370,000 in 2006 to $356,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices rose steadily in Des Peres until a drop off in 2005, but recovered in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics, which began keeping track in 1999.
