Drs. Randy Agolia and Lilly Althaus bought a four-bedroom, 4.5 bath in Wildwood at 18128 Big Pine Court for $787,500 from Jerome Rogers and his wife, Nancy, on Aug 8.

Carla and Brett Borgard of Coldwell Banker Gundaker listed the 3,706 square foot home for $799,900.

Mr. and Mrs. Rogers paid $381,000 for the property in 1997.

Dr. Agolia is a pediatrician with St. John's Mercy Medical Group.

He earned his M.D. at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency in pediatrics at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.

Dr. Althaus practices pediatric medicine in St. Louis as well. She too earned her M.D. at Saint Louis University.

Though Wildwood home sales are down 29 percent in 2007 versus the same time period last year, the median home sales price has risen five percent from $353,000 in '06 to $358,000 in '07. In fact, median sales prices in Wildwood have risen steadily since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
