Edwin Elzemeyer and his wife, Tracy, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 11 Brazillian Ct. in Ladue for $718,000 on Aug. 6 from Apollo Investments Inc.

Apollo Investments paid $451,000 for the property in June 2005.

Mr. Elzemeyer is a solutions architect at Pepperweed Consulting LLC, a consulting firm with corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. He is also the owner of Elzemeyer Consulting Inc., a computer network and system design consulting firm in St. Louis.

He has previously worked as a senior systems and network management architect at A.G. Edwards, and until 2005, was the owner of the Midland Container Corporation. The company, which distributes and manufactures packaging materials, was founded in St. Louis in 1945.

Mrs. Elzemeyer serves as corporate counsel for American Water, one of the largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility company in the nation.

She received her J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and her bachelor's from Purdue.

Apollo Investments Inc. is based in St. Louis and has bought or sold at least 13 different properties in the St. Louis area in 2007. The home at 11 Brazillian Ct. is the second highest sale price for the company, behind the $800,000 price tag the company put on the five-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 11 Briarcliff St. in Ladue in March.

Ladue home sales have dropped five percent through July 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has risen $58,000 from $640,000 in 2006 to $698,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices in Ladue have risen steadily since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
