Dr. Brian K. Dieckgraefe and his wife, Genevieve, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 103 Camfield Square Dr. in Creve Coeur for $576,000 from Richard and Heather Todaro on Sept. 5.

The Todaros paid $326,000 in Oct. 1999.

Bob Brandt of Coldwell Banker Gundaker was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $595,000 when it appeared on the market in May.

Dr. Dieckgraefe is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Gastroenterology Division at the Washington University of School of Medicine.

He has been on the school's faculty since 1996 and specializes in inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal pharmacology. He sees patients at the Center for Advanced Medicine in St. Louis, and is also affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the St. Louis V.A. Medical Center.

He received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Washington University (1988). He earned his bachelor's in Microbiology from the University of Kansas (1982).

Creve Coeur home sales have remained the same through July 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period rose $56,000 from $284,000 in 2006 to $340,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices in Creve Coeur climbed steadily until 2004 before dropping dramatically by 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics, which began keeping track in 1999.
