Food industry exec sells in Ballwin

Donald Blumenthal and his wife, Helissa, sold their two-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 57 Meadowbrook Country Club Estate in Ballwin for $325,000 to Kelly Dellerman on Sept. 4.

The Blumenthals paid $220,000 for the home in Apr. 1996.

Mr. Blumenthal is the principal of Top Line Success Inc., a sales execution consultancy dealing with the food industry in St. Louis. He has previously served as the Vice President of marketing for Tyson Foods and as the VP and General Manager for ConAgra.

He is a former NCAA lacrosse coach and referee, and was a member of the U.S. World Men's Masters lacrosse team. He has completed four New York City marathons.

Dellerman is the former owner of Jed Limousine Inc. in St. Louis.

Ballwin home sales have dropped 13 percent through August 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period has also slipped $8,000 from $228,000 in 2006 to $220,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices have risen steadily in Ballwin since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
