Deborah Snellen and her husband, Steven, sold their four-bedroom, 4.5 bath in Wildwood at 17713 Wilding Place Dr. for $535,000 to Delaji Devupapalli and his wife, Lakshmi Marellapudy, on Aug. 28.

Janice Freeman of Prudential Alliance Realtors listed the 4,146 square foot home for $550,000.

The Snellens paid $351,000 in June 1997.

Mrs. Snellen is the founder of Business Class, a provider of workshops, seminars and retreats of management and organizational development as well as leadership and communication skills and strategic planning. She is a nationally recognized speaker and is a published author.

According to her website, in 1994 she became just the fourth person in Missouri to be certified to administer the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument, a brain assessment tool developed by Herrmann International that identifies a preferred approach to thinking.

Mrs. Snellen, who earned bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia, served as the president of the MU Alumni Association Board in 2003 and 2004.

Though Wildwood home sales are down 21 percent so far this year compared to 2006, the market has still been the ninth most active in St. Louis County. Through Aug. 2007, the median home sale price is the same ($355,000) as was it through Aug. of 2006.
