Victoria Zubiena bought a three-bedroom, two bath at 4527 Von Talge Trails Court in Concord for $310,000 from Gary and Karen Meier on Sept. 6.

The Meiers paid $270,000 for the home in 2005.

Zubiena is the Director of the Skin Institute, an aesthetics school in St. Louis. The company sells dermatology products and offers teaching programs for clients to become licensed skin therapists. Her career in the dermatology industry spans over 30 years.

Concord home sales have dropped 11 percent through August 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has risen $3,000 from $177,000 in 2006 to $180,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices rose steadily in Concord from 1999 to 2005 before dropping in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
