James M. Ertle and his wife, Mary, bought a six-bedroom, four bath at 4 Country Life Acres St. in Country Life Acres for $1.1 million from Truesdale Partners LLC on Sept. 5.

Truesdale Partners paid $1,172,400 for the home in Nov. 2001.

Dorothy Bey of Blake and Davis Realtors was the agent for the sale. The listed price was $1.4 million.

Mr. Ertle is the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Global Energy and Technology Inc., a California-based distribution company of voice and data products. The company, which is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, distributes fiber, cabling, security, network infrastructure, power products and battery backup systems.

He has previously worked for Citigroup and as the Vice President of Corporate Accounts at Graybar Electric, a St. Louis-based electrical and telecommunications company. He was hired to that position in March 2002.

He received his bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Toledo (1985).

Mrs. Ertle is a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker Gundaker in St. Louis.

Country Life Acres home sales have not changed through August 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. Median sales prices rose steadily in Country Life Acres from 1999 to 2005 before dropping in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics.
