Mark Mushinski and his wife, Tammie, bought a four-bedroom, three bath at 1539 Yarmouth Point Dr. in Chesterfield for $385,000 from Catherine Lundy on Sept. 19.
Lundry paid $305,000 for the home in Aug. 2001. The home was built in 1974.
Anthony Benenati of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $437,000 when it appeared on the market in April.
Mr. Mushinski is a veteran of the banking industry, having worked with national banking chain National City in St. Louis.
The Michigan native has also served as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate for Standard Federal Bank in Troy, Mich. He took this position in March 2002 after working for 17 years with Old Kent/Fifth Third Bank and as a credit analyst for Merchants National Bank and Trust in Indianapolis.
He received his M.B.A. from Western Michigan University and his bachelor's from the University of Indianapolis.
Chesterfield home sales have fallen 13 percent through August 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period has also slipped $8,000 from $338,000 in 2006 to $300,000 so far this year.
Median sales prices have risen steadily in Chesterfield since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
