Energizer VP buys from urologist in Chesterfield

Art Handman and his wife, Pamela, bought a three-bedroom, three bath at 1321 Wildhorse Meadows Dr. in Chesterfield for $1.115 million from Dr. Richard Still on Sept. 25.

Still paid $943,911 for the home in Nov. 2001.

Suzi Heller of Coldwell Banker Gundaker real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $1.25 million when it appeared on the market in May.

Mr. Handman is the Group Vice President of Sales for the Energizer Battery Company, which is based in St. Louis.

He has also worked as the Vice President of Business Development for the Florida-based beverage giant Tropicana. He began working for Tropicana in 1994 before he was promoted to his VP role in 2001. He has also served as the Vice President of Sales at the Parmalat New Atlanta Dairy.

He received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University and his bachelor's from Colby College.

Dr. Still is a urologist at Des Peres Hospital specializing in impotency, incontinence, prostate procedures and vasectomies. He has been practicing since 1985.

He received his M.D. from the Kirksville College of Osteopathy in Kirksville, Mo.

Chesterfield home sales have fallen 19 percent through September 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has rose $6,000 from $336,000 in 2006 to $343,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices have risen steadily in Chesterfield since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
