Dr. Peter Krewet and his wife, Elizabeth, sold a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath in Shrewsbury at 7818 Somerworth Ct. for $315,000 to Patrick Powers and his wife, Kelli, on Sept. 20.

The Krewets paid $203,000 for the home in 1993. It was built in 1985.

Keller Williams Southwest listed the 2,135 square foot home for $365,000.

Dr. Krewet is a pediatrician in the St. Louis area and was formerly a member of the faculty at Saint Louis University Medical School.

Home sales in Shrewsbury are down 15 percent so far this year versus the same time frame in 2006. Median home sale prices have also fallen four percent to $165,000.

The median home sale price in Shrewsbury has been rising steadily since 1999, when BlockShopper Metrics began tracking data.
