Guy Link and his wife, Linda, bought a four-bedroom, three bath at 112 Ladue Farm Rd. in Ladue for $600,000 from Jo Ann VanPelt on Oct. 23.

VanPelt paid $290,000 for the home in Aug. 1985.

Edwin Keith of Coldwell Banker Gundaker was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $699,000 when it appeared on the market in March.

Mr. Link is a producer for Corporate Benefit Consultants, an employee benefit consultation firm in Saint Louis. He has worked in the field since 1989.

He received his bachelor's in Business from Southwest Missouri State University.

Ladue home sales have dropped 11 percent through September 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has risen $43,000 from $675,000 in 2006 to $718,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices in Ladue have risen steadily since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
