Edward Jones financial principal spends $430K in Oakville

Rodney Bahr bought a four-bedroom, 3.5 bath at 374 Greycliff Bluff Dr. in Oakville for $430,000 from Stuart and Kathleen Williams on Oct. 18.

The Williams' paid $425,200 for the house in May 2004.

Jeannine Mayo of RE/MAX Gold Select real estate was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $474,900 when it appeared on the market in April.

Mr. Bahr is a principal at Edward Jones, a St. Louis-based financial services firm. He has focused on cash operations for the firm, with a special emphasis on money laundering and making sure the firm complies with the ant-money laundering requirements of the U.S.A. Patriot Act.

He received his M.B.A. from Washington University's Olin School of Business (2003).

Oakville home sales have fallen 23 percent through September 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period has also slipped $16,000 from $226,000 in 2006 to $210,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices have risen steadily in Oakville since BlockShopper Metrics began keeping track in 1999.
