Russell C. Myler and Patricia S. Noland bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath in Ballwin at 503 Wellshire Ct. for $321,500 from James and Pamela Anzer on Oct. 10.

Jan Blassie of Coldwell Banker Gundaker's Chesterfield office listed the 2,311 square foot home for $329,700.

The Anzers paid $263,500 in July 2004.

Mr. Myler is a real estate agent with L.K. Wood Realtors.

Mr. Anzer is a territory manager for Candela Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of medical and aesthetic lasers.

Home sales in Ballwin are down 19 percent so far this year compared with the same time frame in 2006. If this trend continues, it will be the fifth straight year in which the number of homes sold in Ballwin has declined. The median home sale price is down as well, off two percent to $222,000.

Median home sale prices have been rising steadily since BlockShopper Metrics began tracking data in 1999.
