Kathryn Keersemaker and her husband, Mark, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5 bath at 111 Park Ave. in Oakland for $305,000 from Susan Lanzendorf on Oct. 12.

Lanzendorf paid $295,000 for the home in Sept. 2002. It was built in 1937.

Patti Blumeyer of Prudential Alliance Realtors was the agent for the sale. The home was listed for $339,000 when it appeared on the market in February.

Mrs. Keersemaker (Jamboretz) is the host of the weekday morning show for The Big 550 KTRS radio in St. Louis. She joined the station in February and currently co-anchors the "First News with Vic and Katy" show from 5:30-9:00 a.m.

Prior to joining KTRS, she spent seven years as a television news co-anchor with CW-11 in St. Louis. She joined the station in 2000 and anchored the 9 p.m. weeknight newscast.

The Webster Groves native was voted St. Louis' Best Anchor in 2001 and 2003 by the Riverfront Times. She was named to the St. Louis Business Journal's "40 under 40" in 2004.

Prior to joining CW 11, she worked as a field reporter for KMOV-TV (CBS) in St. Louis. She earned her bachelor's in Journalism from the University of Colorado.

Mr. Keersemaker is an attorney who has worked for his own private firm and for the Padberg & Corrigan Law Firm in St. Louis. He specializes in natural resources law.

The St. Louis native received his J.D. from the University of Missouri and his bachelor's from Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C., where he played collegiate soccer.

The couple married in June 2004.

Oakland home sales have risen 56 percent through September 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price over that time period, however, has slipped $21,000 from $241,000 in 2006 to $220,000 so far this year.

Median sales prices in Oakland peaked in 2005 before dropping off dramatically in 2006, according to BlockShopper Metrics, which began keeping track in 1999.
