Patent attorney sells 4BD in Ellisville

Alisha Huls and Jason Huls sold a four-bedroom, three bath in Ellisville at 112 Westridge Parc Ln. for $238,000 to Siddartha Nayak and his wife, Anuranjita, on Oct. 24.

Mrs. Huls paid $234,000 for the home in 2004. It was built in 1990.

Gladys Manion's Whitney Hatfield listed the 2,060 square foot home for $259,000. It was listed as high as $279,900 when it hit the market back in April.

Mrs. Huls is an attorney with the firm of Blackwell Sanders LLP in St. Louis. Her practice deals with trademark and patent protection and other aspects of intellectual property law. She formerly worked as an associate at the firm of Gallop, Johnson, & Neuman, L.C.

She earned both her B.A. and J.D. from Southern Illinois University.

Home sales in Ellisville have slipped ten percent in through September of 2007 versus the same time period in 2006. Median home sale prices, however have jumped 16 percent to $240,000.

Median home sale prices in Ellisville have been inconsistent, experiencing both sharp increases and slight dips. The $200,000 median in 2006 represents a twenty percent increase over the 1999 figure of $159,000, when BlockShopper Metrics began tracking data.
